Special Issue on Photoacoustic Microscopy in Photoacoustics (Open Access)
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the release of a Special Issue focusing on Photoacoustic Microscopy in the Photoacoustics journal (PACS). The aim of PACS is to publish original research and review contributions within the fast growing field of photoacoustics (optoacoustics) and thermoacoustics, which exploits optically and electromagnetically excited acoustical and thermal phenomena for visualization and characterization of a variety of materials and biological tissues, including living organisms.
In this Special Issue Prof. Daniel Razansky and Prof. Hao F. Zhang present papers from diverse disciplines, including new PAM system using novel Raman scattering fiber laser and beam deflection based optical detection of ultrasound, and PAM applications to comprehensive examination of human carotid atheroma and ophthalmology.
We hope you find the papers in this special issue as inspiring as we did. They are all open access and available to everyone to read and download.
Best regards,
Dr. Christoph Hinzen
