Current Projects

KIRA-med

Staff shortages in inpatient care lead to a significant workload. While robotic systems can make time-consuming tasks more efficient, they are often still too inflexible for the dynamic hospital environment. True relief is therefore expected from voice-controlled robots.

As part of KIRA-med, we are developing a voice-controlled robotic assistant for routine tasks on the patient ward. The focus of this robotic assistance is on direct physical interaction with nursing staff to efficiently and safely support patient-centered activities.
